Day Seven

(September 3, 1999)

We headed out early from Montreal.  We stopped by the Duty Free shop and spent most of our remaining Canadian currency on a couple of souvenirs before we crossed the border.

Our destination was Shelburne, Vermont, where we were to meet Melissa's parents and spend a couple of days with them touring the Burlington area before returning home.

Our drive took us through the Thousand Island area of Vermont, and we arrived in Shelburne early, so we continued driving for a while.  After almost going across to New York on the ferry (we had no idea the road became the dock...), we returned to the Shelburne Campground just in time to see Ray and Darlene drive in.
